SDH Bhaderwah holds friendly cricket match

BHADERWAH, Feb 16: SDH Bhaderwah defeated SDH Gandoh by 5 wickets in a friendly one-day cricket match organized under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at Government PG College Ground.
Batting first, SDH Gandoh set a target of 141 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Arif Rather was the top scorer with 33 runs, followed by Dr. Farooq Saleem, who contributed 29 runs. For SDH Bhaderwah, bowlers Jahangir Mehta, Altaf Hussain, Amresh and Kalwant Singh claimed one wicket each.
In reply, SDH Bhaderwah chased down the target in 19.5 overs, losing 5 wickets. Dr. Touseef Malik was the highest scorer with 32 runs and Dr. Amir Malik added 29 runs. Arif Batt and Owais Malik of SDH Gandoh took two wickets each. Dr. Farooq Saleem of SDH Gandoh was awarded the Man of the Match for his all-round performance.
