JAMMU, Dec 14: A grand function was held today at Kendriya Vidyalaya Jindrah to commemorate the foundation day of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). The event aimed to honour the objectives behind the establishment of KVS and its significant academic achievements.
The program began with the lighting of lamp and the Saraswati Vandana. Principal Naveen Kumar also highlighted KVS’s legacy and its commitment to nurturing well-rounded students.
Students showcased the rich cultural heritage of India through dance, song and drama, with patriotic songs filling everyone with enthusiasm and pride. Various exhibitions were organized on the school premises, including artwork, basic literacy and numeracy development, Bharat Scouts and Guides. Former students also attended the event, sharing their experiences and memories. A documentary chronicling the school’s development journey was screened, reminding all of the institution’s growth over the years.
