JAMMU, Dec 14: Humanity Public School (HPS) Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, celebrated its 44th Annual Day at the General Zorawar Singh Auditorium Complex, University of Jammu, here today.
The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Chander Prakash Ganga, MLA from Vijaypur, Ritu Mahajan, Additional Secretary of the School Education Department, J&K, and Th Gulchain Singh Charak, President of Dogra Sadar Sabha, among others. The dignitaries were received by the Chairperson, Meera Charak.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries, followed by a welcoming address from the school’s management. A captivating Ganesh Vandana performed by the students set the tone for the event. Principal Gaurav Charak presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s achievements and future initiatives.
The event featured a vibrant Retro Dance performance, moving speeches from the dignitaries, and a prize distribution ceremony recognizing students for excellence in sports and youth talent search.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Head Girl Gayatri Singh Charak. The event was expertly guided by student anchors Manyata Billowria, Niharika Charak, Sangeeta Sandhu, and Prachi Choudhary, whose enthusiasm added to the event’s success.
