Jagriti Mission School holds prize distribution

JAMMU, Feb 24: Jagriti Mission School, Talab Tillo held prize distribution who distinguished in various sports activities during a week-long sports festival, today.
On the occasion, Renuka Aima, Principal of the institution gave away the prizes, in presence of CEO of the Mission, Shailendra Aima, who was the chief guest.
The Principal in her address dwelt upon the significance of sports in the lives of students and how the sports help in developing an all-round personally. She also impressed upon the students that in the changing context of life, sports could also be pursued as a career.
Earlier during week long sports festival, various competitions were held in games like cricket, badminton, kadaddi, kho-kho, volley ball besides track and field events in 100 meter race, were also held.
In junior category, activities like lemon-spoon race, three legged race, musical chairs etc were also held for tiny-tots.
The Principal also congratulated the house sports incharge and the sports teachers for conducting the events successfully.
