GDC Kathua organizes Patriotic Song Competition

JAMMU, Nov 26: A Solo Song Competition on the theme “National Integration” was organized by the NSS Unit of Govt Degree College Kathua as a part of the series of programmes  to celebrate Quami Ekta Week.
Principal, Dr Nater Singh who presided over the function said that Patriotic thinking develops character and personality of the students and such programmes inculcate the idea of sense of duty and responsibility towards nation.
20 participants presented songs on the occasion.
Muskan Rajput was adjudged 1st, Suhasni Dubey 2nd and Pooja Mahajan 3rd.
200 NSS Volunteers were present in the programnme. Prof Ritu Bhagat, Prof Samritti Singh and Prof Sushma Choudhary were the judges on the occasion.
The programme was organized under the guidance of NSS Programme officers Prof Raj Kiran, Dr Suram Singh and Dr Ram Singh.
Prof Sandeep Choudhary and Sumit Dubey were the special guests on the occasion.
