JAMMU, Oct 8: JKCA gained a lead of 98 runs over Gujarat in the final match of Bhausaheb Nimbalkar 3-Day Cricket Tournament, being organized by the Maharashtra Cricket Association at Pune.
Earlier, resuming from overnight score of 107/4, JKCA scored 217 runs in their first innings, with Ramdayal, Paras Sharma, Bandeep Singh, Sidharth Magotra, Owais Shah and Waseem being the main scorers with 30, 29, 22 and 20 runs each respectively.
At the draw of stumps on day 2, Gujarat were 165 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their second innings, after bundled out for paltry 126 runs in their first innings.
With just 2 wickets in hand, Gujarat have a total lead of 67 runs. For JKCA, left-arm spinner Waseem Raza bagged 3 wickets by conceding 25 runs, while speedsters Asif Rasool took 2 wickets by giving away 42 runs and Rohit Sahrma and Ramdayal claimed one wicket each.
