Army distributes furniture, computer, sports kit to GMS, Barmana

JAMMU, Oct,  7: The Kachrial Battalion of Cross Swords Division distributed the computer, furniture and sports kit to the Govt Middle School Barmana, Tehsil Akhnoor, under the ongoing Operation Sadbhavna, today.
The Commanding Officer, Kachrial Battalion handed over the computer, furniture and sports kit to Pritam Lal, Headmaster, Govt Middle School, Barmana in a colorful ceremony. The event was attended by Desh Raj Sharma, Sarpanch, Barmana and Balwan Singh, Zonal Education Planning Officer, Khour.
The joy and enthusiasm was evident on the faces of the students on receiving the computer, furniture and sports kit as they too could now learn how to use the computer and enjoy studying on the desks provided to them.
The aim of the distribution of above items to the schools is to improve their basic infrastructure.
