Ujjwal, Tarun among 17 outstanding sportspersons appointed under SRO-349

SRINAGAR, Aug 7: Ace fencer Ujjwal Gupta and gritty skater Tarun Gandotra are among 17 outstanding sportspersons appointed under SRO-349/98 vide Government Order No: 1129-GAD of 2013.
While Ujjwal has been appointed as physical education teacher in District Cadre Jammu in the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), subject to the condition that he will undergo BPEd Training Course after appointment, Tarun has been appointed as Sub-Inspector in Armed Police, subject to the condition that he will fulfill the pre-requisite physical standards prescribed for the post.
The others appointed under this order as teachers in District Cadre Jammu included Manpreet Kour, daughter of S Harminder Singh, Arjun Gupta, son of Romesh Gupta, Preet Dutta, son of Subhash Chander, Vishal Gupta, son of KK Gupta, Bharti Mahajan, wife of Amit Mahajan, Ragini Rajput, daughter of Rakesh Singh and Varun Salathia, son of late Shiv Darshan Singh Salathia.
Those appointed as physical education teachers included Brinder Singh Manhas, son of Ranjit Singh Manhas and Verinder Singh, son of Kuldip Singh Salathia in District  Cadres Doda and Jammu respectively.
Rakesh Kumar, son of late Krishan Lal has been appointed as Class-IV in Divisional  Cadre Jammu, while Muneer Ahmed, son of Ghulam Mohammad, Nelofar Nazir Shagoo, daughter of Nazir Ahmed Shagoo, Younis Ali Kand, son of Fida Hussain Kand, Waheeda Bano, daughter of Mohd Dar and Rohe Jan, daughter of Mohd Sultan Bhat have been appointed as Class-IV in Divisional Cadre Kashmir.
