JAMMU, Dec 9: President and general secretary of J&K Amateur Athletics Association in consultation with the senior members constituted eight committees for the smooth functioning of the Association, here today.
The Association also nominated chairman as well as convener of each committee and asked the chairman of the respective committee to nominate members of each committee.
Ramesh Sharma (Retd. SAI Coach) and Sanjeev Singh have been nominated as chairman and convener of the selection committee respectively, while Nirmal Singh and Bushan Singh were announced as chairman and convener of the technical committee and Retaish Kumar and Rakesh Singh were elected as chairman and convener of the medical/age verification committee respectively.
For disciplinary committee, Manu Partap Singh Wazir was nominated as chairman, while Ravinder Singh was appointed as convener, whereas Sunita and Mandeep Kour were nominated as chairman and convener of the women committee and Vinod K. Bhatia and Sahil Raina have been appointed as chairman and convener of the complaint redressal committee.
For the planning and coaching committee, Ramesh Sharma (Retd. SAI coach) and Nirmal Singh were nominated as chairman and convener respectively, besides Ramesh Sharma (Retd. SAI Coach) and Sunil Sharma have been announced as chairman and convener of the examination committee respectively.
