JAMMU, July 9: A Computer Museum was inaugurated at Army Public School, Nagrota by  Rashmi Hooda, Regional President, Army Wives Welfare Association, White Knight Corps, today.
Speaking on the occasion, Hooda emphasised the need for computer awareness amongst the students and lauded the efforts in contributing to establish this valuable facility in Army Public School.
Dedicating the computer museum to the School, Hooda said that old age computer peripherals will help the students to know about gradual growth of the computer technology. The museum which is among very few of its kind in the country, traces back the origins of digital age from old and bulky systems for present day sleek heavy weight. The charts and posters depict the valuable information in a simple and easy to understand the format.
The children of the school were excited to see the computer hardware displayed at the museum. This museum will go a long way in assisting the children to stay abreast with the rapid growth and development in computer technology.
