JAMMU, Dec 5: 9th Gold Cup Roller Skating Championship was declared open in an impressive and well attended function, here today.
Sanjeev Gupta was chief guest on the opening ceremony, while Raj Kumar was the guest of honour, who later-on distributed prizes among the winners of the first day events.
In Under-6 boys, 300 and 500 mtrs, Praful, Samvedya and Atharv clinched gold, silver and bronze respectively, while in Under-6 girls, 300 and 500 mtrs, Arushi and Tania claimed gold and silver respectively.
In Under-8 boys, 300 and 500 meters, Tanish and Shivam bagged gold and silver respectively, while in Under-8 girls 300 meters, Shifit won gold, Shranya got silver and Divanka claimed bronze and in Under-8 girls 500 meters, Shranya, Shifit and Divyanka clinched gold, silver and bronze medals respewctively.
The gold medals in other age categories were bagged by Daksh, Daksh, Sanchita, Satyam Raina, Shivam, Sumukhi, Seerat, Rajveer, Kanya, Kartikay, Ananya, Abhirab, Diya, Vrijesh, Swardhini, Amritpal, Shrishti, Arya Singh, Rasleen, Ridham, Jhanvi, Anirudh, Arush, Rajmanya, Akhil and Kavneet.
