86th Jhajjar Kotli Kesari Vishal dangal tomorrow

KATRA, Apr 13: 86th Jhajjar Kotli Kesari Vishal Dangal will be organized on April 15, 2014 at Jhajjar Kotli in Jammu. The dangal will be organized by Jhajjar Kotli Dangal Committee, under the aegis of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association and under the overall supervision of Shiv Kumar Sharma, president J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association.
The decision in this regard was taken in a meeting held at Katra under the chairmanship of Shiv Kumar Sharma,  who also happens to be the treasurer of Indian Style Wrestling of India.
The members who attended the meeting included Swarn Singh Charak, Durga Dass Thappa, Ravi Kumar Baru, Sham Lal Baru, Mulkh Raj Baru, Sultan Mohd, Sarpanch Madan Mohan Dubey, Kaka Ram, Bishan Dass, Satish Kumar, Neelam Kumar Baru, Rajinder Singh, Bashir Mohd Malik, Khan Mir, Ajit Singh, Tara Mani, Magger Singh, Tarsam Singh, Yesh Paul, Ashok Kumar Baru, Hussian Mohd., Sanjay  Kumar, Vijay Kumar, and Bashir
Mr  Sharma said the dangal is being conducted on the birth anniversary of Dr Karan Singh, M P.
The prize money for the main bout will be Rs 31,000. The amount is being sponsored by Awadh Travels.
Pappu Lakri, Vijay Singh (Biju), Raj Singh, Bishan Dass Thappa, Kaka Ram Falgotra and Balwan Singh were appointed as technical officials for the smooth conduct of the event.
Rakesh Wazir, State general secretary BSP will be the chief guest, while Shiv Kumar Sharma will preside over the function.
Around 85 wrestlers from within and outside the State are expected to take part in the event.
J&K wrestlers from Jammu, Kathua, Doda, Udhampur, Roun-Domail, Ramnagar, Panchari, Moungri, Jindrah, Reasi, Akhnoor, Dansal, BSF, JKP, Army and CRPF have confirmed their entries, while outside the State Wrestlers from Amritsar, Pathankote, Khanna, Attari, Jallandhar, Ludhiana, Ajnala, Dera Baba Nanak and Delhi are likely to Participate in the Vishal Dangal.
