JAMMU, Nov 20: The stage is all set for an exciting display of skill and sportsmanship as around 400 players representing 34 States, Union Territories and organizations from across the country gear up to compete in the 69th National School Games Under-19 Boys and Girls Table Tennis Tournament, commencing tomorrow at the Gymnasium Hall, University of Jammu.
With the arrival of all participating contingents, Organising Secretary of the tournament and Joint Director, Youth Services and Sports Jammu, Vinakshi Koul, convened a meeting of coaches and managers this evening. She briefed them about the event’s schedule, rules, and logistics, while emphasizing coordinated efforts for the smooth and successful conduct of the championship.
She was accompanied by Samir Debbarma, Observer from the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), representing Tripura. Teams from Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, CBSE, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, CISCE, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, IBSSO, IPSE, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, KVS, Kerala, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, NVS, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Vidya Bharati, and West Bengal will be vying for top honours in this prestigious competition.
