56th Junior National Artistic & 25th Rhythmic Gymnastics C’ship enter Day-4

JAMMU, Nov 25: Gymnasts showcased their talent on the Day-4 of the ongoing 56th Junior National Artistic and 25th Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, being organised by Gymnastic Association of J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council under the aegis of Gymnastics Federation of India and J&K Olympic Association at New Gymnastics Hall MA Stadium here.
Around 600 Gymnasts including officials from different States of India are participating under the control of Technical Director GS Bawa.
In Men Artistic Gymnastics Final Event Ranking Pommel Horse, Pranav Mishra (Uttar Pardesh), Jatin Kumar Kanojia (Uttar Pardesh) and Pritam Dey (West Bengal) secured first, second and third ranks respectively. In Vaulting Table Final Event Ranking, Aryan Dawande (Maharashtra), Jatin Kumar Kanojia (Uttar Pardesh) and Rajveer (Delhi) bagged first, second and third ranks respectively. In Floor Exercises Final Event Ranking, Pranav Kushwaha (Uttar Pardesh) secured first rank, Rajveer (Delhi) clinched second rank and Sumit Dhali (Goa) bagged third rank.
Er Kiran Wattal, vice-president Gymnastics Federation of India and president Gymnastics Association of J&K appreciated the performance of gymnasts for winning the medals.
The medals were distributed in 7 shifts today.
In the 1st Shift, Shakti Pathak Director SSF was chief guest while Dr Yashpal Sharma MD J&K Medical Supplies Corporation and Paramjit Singh SSP J&K Police were guests of honour. In the 2nd shift, Dr Sanjogita Sudan Health Officer JMC and Abhishek Gupta general secretary Brick Kiln Owners Association were guests. In the 3rd Shift, Sukhnandan Choudhary former Minister was the chief guest while Surinder Mahajan was guest of honour. In the 4th shift, Sat Sharma former Minister was chief guest while Arun Gupta president Chamber of Commerce and Gourav Gupta general secretary Chamber of Commerce were guests of honour. In the 5th shift, Mukesh Singh ADGP Jammu Zone was the chief guest while Vishesh Mahajan JKAS and Amit Goyal general secretary Raghunath Bazaar Asscoaition Jammu were guests of honour. In the 6th shift, Alok Kumar Principal Secretary Youth Services and Sports was chief guest while Nuzhat Gul Secretary J&K Sports Council and Zaffar Iqbal Chief Accounts Officer J&K Sports Council were guests of honour. In the 7th shift, Waseem Raja JKAS was chief guest while Hafizullah Additional SP PCR Jammu and Harinder Gupta were guests of honour.
All the meritorious gymnasts were awarded medals and bunch of flowers.
