JAMMU, Feb 16: Jammu and Kashmir Sqay Association under the aegis of Sqay Federation of India concluded the 3rd Snow Sqay Championship held at the Ice Skating Rink, Gulmarg.
The championship was organized in a unique winter sports setting at Gulmarg’s iconic ice skating rink and witnessed enthusiastic participation from multiple states. The event showcased a high standard of competition in Snow Sqay and highlighted the growing popularity of this indigenous martial art on ice.
In the overall medal standings, Jammu and Kashmir secured First Position, reflecting excellent preparation and performance. Rajasthan achieved Second Position, while Maharashtra finished Third Position, making the championship highly competitive and spirited.
Athletes Disha Pandith, Muhammad Zaeen and Mir Arsalan Mehraj from Jammu and Kashmir delivered outstanding performances and were appreciated for their technical skills, discipline and sportsmanship.
The Jammu and Kashmir Sqay Association extends sincere gratitude to all participating teams, coaches, technical officials and the local administration for their support and cooperation in making the championship a grand success.
