33 qualify NRAI National Judges Course

JAMMU, Apr 26: The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) concluded its National Judges Course in New Delhi, aimed at strengthening technical expertise and improving officiating standards in shooting sports across the country.
A total of 33 participants from various states successfully qualified the course, which focused on updated international rules, match conduct protocols, and the role of judges in ensuring fairness, transparency, and accuracy in competitions.
The training sessions were conducted by ISSF-certified judges Dhiraj Singh and Arun Wareshi, who provided both theoretical guidance and practical exposure during the course.
The closing ceremony was attended by senior NRAI office bearers, including Vice President K Sultan Singh, Secretary General Pawan Kumar Singh, Secretary Rajiv Bhatia and Governing Body Member S S Sodhi.
Sodhi distributed certificates to all 33 successful participants and congratulated them on their achievement. He urged them to maintain the highest standards of integrity, discipline, and professionalism in their role as judges. He emphasized that a strong officiating system is essential for the credibility and growth of shooting sports in India.
He further highlighted the importance of continuous training and capacity-building initiatives to meet international standards and improve officiating quality. He noted that such programmes play a vital role in expanding the pool of qualified technical officials in the country.
