2-Days Karate C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Dec 3: Two-days 2nd UT level Karate Championship cum selection trials for Nationals, organised by Association of Karate of J&K, concluded at Indoor Hall Bhagwati Nagar, here today.
The training camp and championship were conducted by Sensei Ashok Darda who is black belt 5th DAN WKF and 6th DAN Japan Karate Do Federation. He is also a qualified Asian judge and treasurer of NKFI.
Around 100 students participated in the camp and championship in which various students won medals in different weight categories and made their coaches and parents proud.
Chief patron of the Association, KK Gupta, president Kuljeet Singh Jamwal, Rajeev Khajuria, Jammu District senior vice president Vijay Anand, general secretary, Sensei Amit Singh and treasurer Sensei Vikas Dhar were present during the tournament.
All the office bearers boosted the morale of participants and wished them good luck for upcoming events, tournaments and national championship.
