JAMMU, Dec 10: The two days Jammu District Judo Championship concluded at Multipurpose Hall Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
The Championship was organized by J&K Judo Association under the aegis of J&K State Sports Council and J&IK Olympic Association.
Around 300 Judokas from different Schools participated in the Championship.
Thakur Rachpal Singh, President J&K Judo Assocaition and Former MLA Kalakote was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who gave medals and certificates to the winners. Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, General Secretary J&K Judo Association was the guest of honour.
Prominent who are present on the occasion were Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Complex, Varinder Dogra, Rohit Gupta, Shiv Kumar, Suraj Sharma, Manish Chatwal, Rohit Sadhotra, Rajesh Verma and Ranjodh Singh.
Bouts were officiated by Suraj Bhan Singh, Vikas Dogra, Ritika Slathia and Rameshwar Singh
The Judokas of Orange Pre School, Durga Nagar; BSF School Paloura and Army School Kaluchack blossomed in different age groups.
The gold medal winners in different age groups were Naman, Vigneshwar, Nitin, Ishan, Arnav Gupta, Aman Chib, Varun Sharm, Krishna, Munish Sahrma, Gourav, Divjot, Pranav Sharma, Aryan, Vishrut Kotwal, Gourav Kumar, Shubam Sahrma, Mridul Kerni, Nirbay Jamwal, Atul Sahrma, Sajan Sharma, Kundan Padha, Mridul Kerni, Kanishka, Kumakshi, Ridima, Rashika, Aradhya, Samridi, Shristi, Suhana, Shivani and Shashi Kiran.
