KATHUA, Apr 17: A brilliant performance by youngster Karan Veer Sharma goes in vain as SKCA Vijaypur defeated Parade Warriors by 46 runs in a one-day match played at Shubam Cricket Academy, Vijaypur today.
Karan Veer Sharma scored 180 runs in the match. This is the second time that Karan showed his master class by scoring 180 runs. Earlier, he had scored 186 runs in a match played at same ground.
Earlier, batting first SKCA Vijaypur scored 372 for the loss of eight wickets in 45 overs. Rudra scored 109 runs and Vansh Singh scored 88 runs. Rajveer Singh took 3 wickets and Usman claimed two wickets.
Chasing the target, Parade Warriors bundled out at 344 runs and thus lost the match by 28 runs. The highlight of the match was dashing batter Karan Veer Sharma who scored 180 runs in 118 balls with 26 fours and 6 sixes. Dhruv from SKCA Vijaypur took 5 wickets conceding 30 runs.
