JAMMU, Nov 2: The 12th Jammu District Athletic Championship commenced at Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar here in U-14, U-16, U-20 and Senior categories for both boys and girls.
The championship was declared open by Ashutosh Sharma, Patron in Chief J&K Amateur Athletic Association in presence of Sharat Chander Singh General Secretary JDAA, SS Gill President JDAA, Vinod Bhatia General Secretary JDAA, Tajinder Singh, Treasurer JDAA, Rajan Sharma, former Divisional Sports Officer J&K State Sports Council, Gurcharan Singh, Garu Dass, Rajesh Sharma, Parveen and Gurpreet.
Around 150 athletes from different schools and clubs from Jammu district are participating in this championship.
