JAMMU, Jan 1: Zorawar Hockey Club Satwari defeated Guru Nanak Hockey Club (GNHC), Jammu by four goals to nil (4-0) to advance in the ongoing Under-19 Hockey Tournament, being organized by the Hockey J&K at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here.
Zorawar Club players dominated the match from the word go and Ramandeep Singh and Yog Raj were the star performance, who pelted 2 goals each.
The match was officiated by Joginder Singh, J S Bali, J S Reen, G S Bakshi and M S Reen.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Rajinder Singh, treasurer Hockey India, Romal Singh, general secretary Hockey J&K, Rajeev Sharma, Balkrishan, Vijay Vaid and B K Bhat.
