SRINAGAR, Sept 1: To nurture the passion of Cricket among youth of North Kashmir, RR Unit of Lolab under the aegis of Charkut Garrison, organised a workshop cum practice session for the budding cricketers of the region at Chandigam Village Ground, Lolab Valley, today.
The workshop was conducted by renowned international cricketer Yusuf Pathan, who is a brand ambassador of cricket for J&K.
A total of 50 budding cricketers, from Kupwara, Handwara, Bandipora and other adjoining areas, participated in the workshop and learned various techniques and skills of batting and bowling from the renowned cricketer during the workshop.
“The day-long workshop by international players has left a lasting impact on the youth of the region and has given a favourable impetus to the overall upliftment of sports in the region,”said Army official.
