JAMMU, Mar 31: Advocate Ahtsham Batt, Secretary of Young Star Cricket Club, Doda while appreciating the State Sports Council for successfully organizing sports events in the State under Khelo India Scheme has demanded that the scheme be extended to Doda region as well.
Ahtsham while addressing a Press Conference at Jammu said, ” It is heartening to see that the State Sports Council under the patronage of the Chief Minister (President of the Sports Council) has organized a series of sporting events in various districts under the “Khelo India Games Scheme”. The events have taken place at the Block, District level.
“I on behalf of the Sports Persons of Doda region humbly appeal to the Secretary Sports Council Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra to kindly extend the scheme to Doda region in the new financial year,” said Mr Batt.
