JAMMU, Feb 25: Youth Talent Search forum organized a Prize Distribution Ceremony at Gandhi Nagar to honour the prize winners of inter-school competition held among 10 reputed Schools during 2014-15 session.
The chief guest on this occasion was Roma Wani, Secretary Red Cross Society, while I D Soni, State Commissioner Scouts & Guides presided over the function.
Students of Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in 9 different categories of inter-school competitions.
In inter-school poem recitation competition, Rudraksh Bargotra and Dikshita secured 1st position in Hindi recitation, while Tizil Sharma got 2nd position in English recitation.
In story telling competition, Primbdha clinched 3rd spot.
In mass PT, the prize winners included Abdul Samad, Ayushman Kohli, Ansh Gupta, Vansh Verma, Depansh Mahajan, Phagul Sharma, Keshav Sharma, Samkit Jain, Sherish Azim, Manah Wasim, Rudrakshi Sharma, Ishita Sahwney, Taiba Batool, Shiv Nandan, Vishal Puri, Arpana Tak, Aporva Bali and Wasim Akram.
In salad making competition, Riyan Ahmed Mir, Vasu Sharma and Divyansh Singh won 1st prize, while in gift wrapping and copy covering, Hari Gupta secured 1st position where as Arpit Sharma clinched 2nd position.
In fancy dress competition, Sakshi Thakur and Jhanvi Sharma bagged 1st position where as Mehak Nabi Wani claimed 2nd position.
In card making competition, Stanzin Tsepal secured 3rd position, while in inter-school folk dance competition, Shreya, Vishali, Shinali, Aakansha, Prerna, Sai Bhat, Rupashi, Kusum, Rishika, Suhani and Smriti secured 3rd prize.
The Founder Principal, Lawrence Public School, Shakuntla Joshi lauded the efforts of the students for their excellent performances in various inter school competitions.
