DODA, Sept 17: Young Stars Dadhar defeated Media XI Gandoh in a cricket match by 12 runs, organised by the Army at Green Park Stadium Gandoh, here today.
About 64 teams from various parts of the Sub-District Gandoh-Bhellessa participated in the tournament.
Batting first, Young Star Dadhar scored 128 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in stipulated 13 overs, wherein Mohd Yasin was the top scorer with 37 runs, while Arif scored 35 runs. For Media XI, Rafi Choudhary took one wicket, while Manoj Kumar clinched 3 wickets.
In reply, Media-XI bundled out at 116 runs and lost the match by 12 runs. Muzafir made highest 40 runs and Sajjad contributed12 runs to the total respectively. From Young Stars, Dadhar Yasin bagged 4 wickets and Adil took 2 wickets.
