JAMMU, Jan 25: Young Hero’s, Vijay Club and Anantnag Titans scripted convincing victories over their rivals in the ongoing 2nd Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Memorial Football Tournament, being played at Mini Stadium Parade, here.
In the first match, Young Hero’s defeated NGR by a solitary goal. Illyas was the goal scorer in 20th minute of the match.
In another match, Vijay Club got the better of Christian Star by two goals to nil (2-0). The first goal was scored by Shivam in 46th minute, while the second goal was netted by Ajay in 52nd minute.
In yet another match, Anantnag Titans defeated Mussa Club by three goals to one (3-1) via tie-breaker. For Anantnag Titans, the goal scorers were Basheer, Umar and Rizwan, while from Mussa Club, Happy was the scorer.
The matches were officiated by Suresh Gupta, Rakesh Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Hilal Ahmed, Ramesh Kumar, Koushal Sharma, Dil Bahadur, Rinku Gill and Mohinder Kalsi (Physio).
