JAMMU, Nov 19: Young Heroes prevailed opon Param Football Club (FC) in a close contest by two goals to one to advance in the ongoing Senior Division League Football Tournament, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Football Ground, here.
After a tough contest in the first half, it was Abhishek of Young Heroes who pelted a splendid goal in the 37th minute to give his side a much needed lead and Deepak Sangral enhanced the lead in 55th minute by scoring another goal. However, Brijender from Param FC reduced the lead by netting a goal in 69th minute of the match. Finally, Young Heroes won the match by (2-1) goals.
The match was officiated by Vijay Kumar, Sanjay, Harmanjeet Singh and Koushal.
Mussa Club will take on Young Star in the next match at the same venue tomorrow.
