JAMMU, Aug 27: Wadaka Warrior Maharashtra ,UP Cricket Club and Punjab Cricket Club trounce Sapartan Cricket Academy Delhi, Friends Eleven Jammu and White Cricket Club Jammu B in the ongoing All India 1st Jammu Kashmir Friendship T-20 Cricket Championship 2013 for Peace on Tuesday being played at Sports Stadium Jammu University, Jammu which was organized by Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda.
The first match was played between Sapartan Cricket Academy Delhi and Wadaka Waririor Maharashtra . Batting first after winning the toss, Sapartan Cricket Academy Delhi scored a total of 76 runs in stipulated 16 overs. Sandeep was the highest scorer who scored 19 runs while Deepak also contributed 19 runs for his team. From Vadaka Warrior Maharashtra,Supnil and Bilal took 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
In reply,Vadaka Warrior Maharashtra chase the target in 13.3 overs and register the victory by four vickets.Rohit was the highest scorer who scored 29 runs while Parveen contributed 20 runs for the team.
From Sapartan Cricket Academy Delhi, Furqan and Rahul took 2 and 2 wickets.
Later on Supnil of Vadaka Warrior Maharashtra was declared as Man of the Match for his best performance.
Whereas, the second match was played between UP Cricket Club and Friends Eleven Jammu. Batting first after winning the toss, Friends Eleven Jammu scored a total of 48 runs by loosing of all wickets in 9.4 overs..Anshul was the highest scorer who scored 5 runs while Shubham contributed 5 runs for his team. From UP Cricket Club, Hadypal and Vinod took 2 and 2 wickets respectively
In reply, UP Cricket Club chase the target. Azad was the highest scorer from UP Cricket Club who scored 20 runs followed by Dilbagh who contributed 13 runs for his team. From Friends Eleven Jammu, Raju and King took 2 and 2 wickets respectively.
Later on UP Cricket Club’s Hadypal was declared as Man of the Match for his best all round performance.
Whereas, the third match was played between Punjab Cricket Club and White Cricket Club Jammu B. Batting first after winning the toss, Punjab Cricket Club scored a total of 97 runs by loosing of seven wickets in stipulated 16 overs..Batraj was the highest scorer who scored 30 runs while Joban contributed 29 runs for his team. From White Cricket Club Jammu B, Rahul and Deepak took 3 and 1 wickets respectively.
In reply, Friends Eleven Jammu could not Chase the Target and allout on 85 runs. Mohil was the highest scorer from Friends Eleven Jammu who scored 29 runs followed by Rahul who contributed 22 runs for his team. From Punjab Cricket Club, Jodha and Gorav took 4 and 3 wickets respectively.
Later on Punjab Cricket Club’s Jodha was declared as Man of the Match for his best all round performance.
Mohd Rafi and Rajinder acted as umpire while Yasir Dar was official Scorer.
Man of the match awards for the best performance was given by Chief Guest,Director Sports and Physical Education, Jammu University Prof.Dhian Singh Bhau.
