REASI, Aug 17: District Police distributed wrestling mats among students under its ‘Civic Action Programme’, here today.
In this regard, a function was organized at Indoor Sports Stadium Reasi wherein Police officers, prominent citizens and hundreds of students participated.
SSP Reasi Amit Gupta was the chief guest during the event. He praised the talent of youth and dedicated wrestling mats for youth.
On this occasion, girls and boys wrestling competitions were also organized at Indoor Stadium which was witnessed by the chief guest and others.
“It is an initiative of J&K Police to provide a platform and opportunities to the students, so that they can perform at State and national levels,” SSP said.
