Wrestler Amit of Delhi lifts 104th Jindrah Kesari title

KATRA, Apr 16: Wrestler Amit Patha Maha Singh Rao of Guru Hanuman Akhara Delhi lifted 104th Annual Jindrah Kesari 2014 title by defeating Sukha of Rajasthan in a tough bout that lasted for 22 minutes at Jindrah in Jammu.
Dangal was organized by Jindrah Dangal Committee under the aegis of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, under the supervision of president Jindrah Dangal Committee and Sarpanch Anil Sharma and Ex Sarpanch Kishori Lal Sharma.
Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India who is also president J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes among the winners and runner-up wrestlers. Sarpanch Anil Sharma presided over the function. Naib Tehsildar Jindrah Mohd Aslam and Medical Officer Dr Tahir were the guests of honour. Contractor Balbir Singh and ASI Ashok Sharma were also present on the occasion.
Shiv Kumar Sharma and Sarpanch Anil Sharma gave Rs 11,000 cash prize money to the winner of 1st malli, Amit while Rs 10,000 was given to runners-up wrestler Sukha by Ex Sarpanch Kishori Lal and Naib Tehsildar Mohd Aslam.
In all 51 bouts were played in the day long event.
