JAMMU, Aug 19: Government Degree College Kalakote celebrated World Photography Day by organising online photography competitions on different topics in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club and JKACS.
Large number of participants from different institutions including schools, colleges and universities participated.
The competition was judged by Dr Parmil Kumar, Associate Professor of Statistics, University of Jammu. He is an acclaimed natural landscape and wildlife photographer.
Rizwan Ahmed Hakak of Tyndale Biscoe School Srinagar and Raja Manan Yahya of GD Goenka Public School Srinagar shared first position, Honey Bharali, student of MA Sociology from Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi and Nirvaan Mahajan of GCET, Jammu, shared second position, whereas 3rd position was shared between Sakshi Dutt and Ashu Devi of GDC Kalakote.
The event was organised by Prof Sachin Kumar Bhagat.
Professor (Dr) Romesh Kumar Gupta, College Principal appreciated role of organizing committee for organising this event.
