Workshop on ‘Soft Skills’ for faculty organised

JAMMU, Sept 3: Dogra College of Education under IQAC organized a three days online workshop on ‘Soft Skills’ for its faculty members and students.
The proceedings of the workshop started with the welcome address by Dr Shefali Sharma, IQAC Coordinator Dogra College of Education. In her address, she gave a brief description about the importance of soft skills for language & personality development in the present scenario.
Rohit Sharma, Lecturer English and DCE was the resource person of the workshop which was attended by both the faculty and teacher trainees to learn and work on their communication skills which are important for their career and professional development.
“There are various soft skills namely Listening, Communication, Work Ethics etc. which have to be practiced well so that we all have good communication skills,” said resource person and highlighted the importance of six soft skills with the help of PPT (PowerPoint presentation).
Dr Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal DCE appreciated the efforts of the IQAC cell of College for organizing the workshop. A formal vote of thanks was presented by Indu Puri, Senior Lecturer DCE.
