JAMMU, July 31: K C Public School has conducted a transformative workshop on basic counseling skills for its faculty members. The enlightening workshop aimed to equip 30 dedicated teachers with essential techniques, enabling them to provide comprehensive support and guidance to their students.
The comprehensive workshop was held from 29th to 31st July, delved into various aspects of counseling, including active listening, empathy, effective communication, and problem-solving techniques. The participants were exposed to real-life scenarios, case studies, and interactive activities, offering them practical insights into the art of counseling.
Saloni Priya, Director, Ummeed Counseling and Consulting Services, Kolkata an esteemed counseling psychologist with over 24 years of experience in the field, led the workshop. Her expertise and engaging teaching style resonated with the participants, ensuring an enriching and immersive learning environment throughout the seminar.
Chairman, Raju Chowdhary, Vice Chairman, Arjun Chowdhary, MD Arti Chowdhary and Principal Amarendra Kumar Mishra expressed their gratitude to Saloni Priya and team for the interactive workshop and imparting and enhancing various skills in the teachers.
