JAMMU, Sept 22: A workshop-cum-Counselling session on the topics ‘Effective Teaching’ and ‘Role of Teachers in Safety and Security of Students’ was organised for the faculty members of Doon International School, here.
The resource person was renowned psychologist of the state and the co-founder of Care-North, Dr Chand Trehan.
The workshop was divided into two sessions. In the first session, Dr Trehan had an interactive discussion with the teachers on how to be an effective teacher. The other session dealt with the problems and solutions regarding safety and security of the students in the school.
The workshop was a fruitful event for the teachers keeping in mind the present day security scenario. Chairman of the school, GN Tantray graced the occasion.
The Principal of the school Vikesh Kaur presented the vote of thanks and the memento to Dr Trehan. Vice Principal Mamta Chopra and Chief Coordinator, Sarita Koul were also present and contributed with their valuable suggestions.
The CCA Coordinator Ms Rachna Khanna facilitated the smooth conduction of the workshop.
