UDHAMPUR, Jan 30: The renowned Punjabi singer, Lakhwinder Wadali mesmerized the tourists with his melodious voice on the second day of Winter Carnival-2017 at Patnitop.
Various cultural programmes and sports activities like snow skiing, snow zorbing, snow sledging and Tug of War were also organized on the second day of three day long carnival which were very much enjoyed by the tourists.
A large number of tourists are visiting Patnitop to witness the three day long programme, said CEO PDA Rakesh Sangral, adding that this would definitely give boost to Tourism and state economy.
The Winter carnival 2017 which was inaugurated yesterday by the Member of Legislative Assembly Chenani, Dinanath Bhagat would conclude tomorrow.
Earlier, in the inaugural ceremony, MLA said that the construction work of International Yoga Centre at Mantalai would start very soon.
Besides this, he said that the work of Circular road from Patnitop to Gouri Kund is in process and about 4 km stretch of this circular road has been completed. “Every possible effort has been made by the present Government to increase the influx of the tourists in this beautiful tourist destination,” added the MLA.
The MLA also highlighted the prestigious Patnitop Ropeway Project, which he said, would definitely attract a large number of tourists to this famous tourist spot.
