White CC, Game Changers emerge winners

JAMMU, Dec 31: White CC Srinagar and Game Changers emerged winners by defeating Lal Ded Warriors and City Boys with 39 and 25 runs respectively in the ongoing CL Chrangoo Memorial Cricket Tournament, being played at Country Cricket Ground Amb Gharota, here today.
The today’s first match was played between White CC Srinagar and Lal Ded Warriors wherein White Cricket Club won the match with 39 runs.
The White CC won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, the WCC scored 164 runs with fall of all wickets in 18 overs. Jundaid made highest score of 92 runs while Vineet contributed 52 runs to the total. From bowling side, Anuj bagged five wickets, while Rahul Koul clinched four wickets and Akash took one wicket.
In reply, the Lal Ded Warriors failed to chase the target and bundled out at 125 runs. Akash made 31 runs, Shivam scored 26 runs and Candy, Rakshit and Eshan contributed 15, 13 and 13 runs respectively. From bowling side, Zahid clinched three wickets, while Sushil bagged two wickets and Ashiq, Riyaz and Mushtaq shared one wicket each. Junaid was declared as man of the match.
In another match, Game Changers defeated City Boys with 25 runs. Batting first Game Changers scored 149 runs with the fall of nine wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Kanav made 47 runs while Ankush and Akash contributed 29 and 20 runs respectively. For City Boys, Latif Khan bagged three wickets, while Junaid and Sahil Tikku shared two wickets each and Mohd Imran and Tanveer shared a nicket apiece.
While chasing the target, City Boys bundled out at 124 runs wherein Junaid scored 51 runs, whereas Faizan and Imityaz contributed 19 and 14 runs. For Game Changers, Akash clinched four wickets, whereas Akshit took two wickets and Yogesh Sikka, Jatinder, Ankaj and Govind shared one wicket each. Akash Choundhary was declared as man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Gharu Ram and Vishal, whereas Bharat was the scorer.
