SRINAGAR, Feb 3: A meeting of Winter Games Association of Jammu and Kashmir (WGAJK) was held here to finalize the arrangements for the forthcoming Junior and Sub-Junior National Alpine Ski Championship.
In a press release, Mohammad Yusuf, Publicity Secretary (WGAJK) said that the meeting also finalized the dates for the championship. Yusuf said the championship will be held from February 11 to February15.
He said a coaching camp for the selected team is in progress at Kongdori in which about 45 skiers in different age groups are participating. The coaching is being imparted by Santosh of Himachal Pradesh and Gul Mustafa Dev. The camp is sponsored by State Cable Car Corporation. The meeting was presided over by WGAJK President, Farooq Ahmad Shah.
