Western Vocal, Clay Modeling, Instillation events held

JAMMU, Sept 30: The events of Western Vocal (Solo & Group), Clay Modeling and Instillation were conducted today in the ongoing ‘Display Your Talent-2016-17’,  organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu.
In Western Vocal (Solo), Shumalini Goswami from SPMR College of Commerce, Asif from KC Law College and Vishal Pandita from Govt  MAM College were declared First, Second & Third respectively. The Certificates of Merit were awarded to Shubhangni Jamwal IDS Sehora, Ayushi Chowdhary  and Deskyong Angma from GCW Gandhi Nagar. Dr  Sarika Manhas was the Teacher In-Charge of the event.
In Western Vocal (Group), the team of SPMR College of Commerce stood First, GCW, Gandhi Nagar stood Second and the Third position was shared by PG Integrated Team and GCW Parade. The Certificates of Merit were awarded to the teams of Govt  MAM College and The Law School, JU.  Suman Gupta,  Jagmeet Singh and  Naresh Sharma were the judges for the event.  Dr  Sadaf Shah was the Teacher In-Charge.
In Clay Modeling, Sachin Verma and Trishla Kumari from Institute of Music and Fine Arts and Diksha Andotra from Deptt of Life Long Learning, JU,  stood First, Second and Third respectively. Certificates of Merit were  awarded to Vijayta Kashyap from GDC Hira Nagar and Rashmi Singh from GDC Akhnoor. Dr. Savita Nayyar was the Teacher In-Charge of the event.
In Instillation, the team of Chetan Bandral and Sachin Kumar from Institute of Music and Fine Arts stood First, Mehak and Kanav Chopra from Govt  MAM College stood Second and Radhay Mahajan and Sachi Jain from GCW Gandhi Nagar stood Third. Dr  Tirath Ram was the Teacher In-Charge of the event.  Jagpal S  Bandral, Amarjeet Singh,  Mukul Mangotra and Vikas Dogra were the Judges of both the events of Fine Arts.
The event was coordinated by  Sumeet Sharma (Drama Instructor) and  Ifra Kak (Cultural Officer). Hemant, Neha, Sunakshi, Rajni, Sameeta, Radhika, Samiksha, and Surbhi did the Hall Management.  The event of Debate would be conducted tomorrow at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium from 10:00 am onwards.
