Wazir helps Atman Club trounce Patel-B by 9 wkts

JAMMU, Jan 27: A power-packed knock of 54 runs off 24 balls with 4 sixes and 5 fours by RP Wazir helped Atman Sports Club to outplay Patel-B Cricket Club by 9 wickets in the ongoing 3rd Parmodh Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Mandal Cricket Club at Mandal, near here today.
Batting first, Patel-B bundled out for a paltry total of 88 runs, with Arun contributing maximum 30 runs to the total. Dhai (15) and Dinesh (10) were the other contributors. Naushad was the pick of the bowlers who took 4 wickets, while Vishvajeet bagged 3 wickets. Ramdayal and Tanu also claimed one wicket each.
Atman Club, in reply, rode on a superb knock of 54 runs by Wazir chased the target easily in 10 overs. Chetan Singh Chib was the other contributor with 30 runs. Dhai took the lone wicket to fall. Naushad was adjudged man of the match for his 4-wicket haul.
The match was officiated by Balbir and Sunny Sharma as umpires, while Monu Sharma maintained the scorebook. GS Michael is the organizing secretary of the tournament.
