POONCH, May 11: District police organised a function and distributed certificates among the students, who have successfully completed vocational training courses in computer, shorthand and cutting and tailoring from Police Vocational Training Centre Kanuyian.
On the occasion, DDC Poonch Sajjad Ahmed Khan was the chief guest, who presented certificates among the students in presence of SP Poonch, Shamsheer Hussain and locals.
In addition, three female students namely Tazeem Akhter of GDC Poonch who participated in essay competition in England, Shaishta Mushtaq of Islamia High School Poonch, who received Pariyavaran Puraskar and Afreen Khalid Kohli of Christ School Poonch (topper in class 10th examination in Jammu province in 2013) were also felicitated.
