VKCC drubs Commando Club in Samba T20

SAMBA, Feb 9: Varun Katal Cricket Club (VKCC) defeated Commando Cricket Club by 2 wickets in Samba T20 Cricket Tournament, which commenced here today.
The tournament is being organised by Samba Cricket Club in the memory of martyrs at Keli Mandi ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, Commando Cricket Club scored 168 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 4 wickets in the process. Raman Sutra, Rakesh Singh and Shashi Chib contributed 36, 34 and 29 runs to the total respectively. Raghu took 1 wicket from VKCC.
In reply, VKCC chased the target in 18 overs, losing 8 wickets in the process to win the match by 2 wickets. Raghu top scored with 50 runs, studded with 4 fours and 4 sixes, while Rupa contributed 31 runs to the total. From Commando Cricket Club, Shashi Chib took 3 wickets, while Surinder Kumar bagged 2 wickets. Raghu was declared man of the match for his superb batting display.
The match was officiated by Rahul Singh and Digvijay Singh.
The tournament is being held under the supervision of organising committee including Sarpanch Lablu, Rajeev Sharma, Aman Sambyal, Surinder Singh, Abhinav Sambyal, Aru Bhatti and Vivek Singh.
