JAMMU, Nov 25: Vishal Cricket Club defeated Khalsa Cricket Club in a thrilling contest via super over in the ongoing 4th Ravi Singh Charak Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament at Satwari Cantt ground, here today.
Earlier, batting first, Khalsa Club scored a mammoth total of 200 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Jatin was the top scorer with 80 runs off 44 balls, studded with 12 boundaries and 2 sixes, while Inderjeet Singh contributed 47 runs of 27 balls and Satish chipped in with 41 runs. For Vishal Club, Prithvi took 2 wickets, while Vishal claimed one.
In reply, Vishal Club also scored 200 runs and the match ended in a tie, which later-on was decided via super over. Prithvi scored 51 runs, while Romi and Pinkal contributed 37 and 35 runs to the total respectively. Inderjeet scalped 4 important wickets for Khalsa Club, while Rahil took 2.
In the super over, Khalsa Club scored 13 runs, while Vishal Club chased the scored with one ball to go.
