Vinod helps Sharda-XI to outclass BGCC, advances to next round

JAMMU, Sept 5: Splendid inning of 57 runs and 4 wicket haul by Vinod helped Sharda-XI to outclass Blood and Guts Cricket Club (BGCC) by 4 wickets and to advance into the next round of the ongoing 1st Jammu Cricket Premier League Pink Ball Tourney, being organized by Krish Sports and Events at Parade ground, here today.
Batting first, BGCC scored 109 runs by losing all wickets. Yogesh chipped in 39 runs, while Abhinav and Happy scored 17 and 9 runs respectively.
From Sharda-XI side, Vinod was the pick of the bowler with 4 wickets, while Amit took 3 wickets and Sumit clinched one wicket.
In the second inning, Sharda-XI chased the target by losing 6 wickets. Vinod played a splendid inning of 57 runs, while Rakesh and Sunil scored 17 and 8 runs respectively.
From BGCC side, Yogesh, Pankaj and Ashutosh took 2 wickets each.
On the occasion, Rakesh Gill was chief guest, who presented Man of the Match award to Vinod of Sharda-XI for his all-round performance.
The match was officiated by Shakti Dabas and Neeraj Dabas as umpires, while Shahrukh Khan maintained the scorecard.
The tournament is being organized by Sagar Sadhu and Rajat Sharma from Krish Sports and Events.
