JAMMU, Feb 11: Union Ministry of Communications, on the recommendations of MP Rajya Sabha Gulam Ali Khatana, has nominated prominent social workers and activists as members to the Jammu Telephone Advisory Committee (TAC).
The nomination to Jammu Telephone Advisory Committee shall remain valid upto 13-07-2024 or till further orders, whichever is earlier. The order further said that the nomination will be governed by the guidelines contained in DoT Circular Number 02-01/2022-PHP dated 16/11/2022.
The prominent social activists and citizens nominated to the Jammu Telephone Advisory Committee include Vijay K Gupta “Vinay” (Shastri Nagar Jammu), Tilak Raj Gupta, (Talab Tillo), Rajak Ali Putto (Bathindi), Shazia Tabassum (Mehari Gujjaran, Rajouri), Munish Kumar Khajuria (Rajpura, Mangotrain Jammu), Samreen Khan (Manjakote, Rajouri), Harbhajan Singh (RS Pura, Jammu), Mohd Ashfaq (Mendhar, Poonch), Rajinder Singh Chib (Gho Manhasan, Jammu), Waseem Ahmed (Upper Bathindi, Jammu), Ashok Kumar (Jammu), Arshad Begum (Sangar, Purmandal, Samba), Mushtaq Inqalabi (Rajouri), Shahid Choudhary (Kheri, Block Bhalwal, Jammu), Sanjita Dogra, (Kacchi Chawni, Jammu) and Rajan Gandhi (Journalist, Purani Mandi, Jammu).
