Vimal Muni College organizes ‘Alumni Meet’

SAMBA, June 12: Vimal Muni College of Education Ramgarh in Samba organized Alumni Meet in the College Campus, here.
Harbans Singh, former Minister was the chief guest on the occasion, while NR Sharma, former Head of the Department of Education, University of Jammu presided over the function. Prof KB Sethi was the guest of honour, while Sanjeev Gupta, Patron of the College and Anu Gupta, College Chairperson were the special guests.
The programme was participated by the former students of the College drawn from the states of Punjab, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jammu and Kashmir.
The programme began with the lighting of traditional lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries, which was followed by the Sarswati Vandhana presented by the students.
Earlier, SD Gupta, Principal of the College presented the welcome address.
Various colourful items were presented by the students on the occasion which included Sarswati Vandhana, National Song, Skits and Dramas etc.
Later-on, Prof Asha Verma presented vote of thanks.
