JAMMU, May 28: Vikas Gupta was elected general secretary of J&K Judo Association, while Rachpal Singh was elected president of the same in an Annual General Body Meeting of J&K Judo Association held here today.
MA Bukhari is the patron-in-chief of the Association, while RC Thakur was named senior vice president.
Dr Asutosh Sharma (Jammu) and GM Wani (Kashmir) were elected vice presidents of the Association.
Sharat Chander was elected treasurer of the Association, while Varinder Dogra (Jammu) and Gowhar Khan (Kashmir) were named organizing secretaries.
Shiv Kumar and Abdul Hamid were elected joint secretaries of Jammu wing and Kashmir wing respectively.
Four time National medialist and orthopedician Dr Sandeep Singh and Suraj Bhan Singh were elected Chairmen of Medical and Technical Committee respectively.
The executive members of the Association included Romesh Mahajan, Dr Nirmolak Singh, Sunil Sharma, Madan Mohan, Baldev Raj, Suraj Sharma, Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, Raj Kumar, Ravi Gupta, Manzoor Ahmed, Umar Hamza and Dev Raj.
