Vijay-Sahil duo wins Carrom U-19 boys title

JAMMU, Aug 8: The pair of Vijay Kumar and Sahil Pal of Government HSS Gandhi Nagar won the title of the District Level Inter-School Under-19 boys Carrom competition, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports as a part of Annual Calendar of sports activates under the supervision of Sukhdev Raj Sharma District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu at Indoor Hall M.A Stadium, here.
Suresh Sharma and Amit Singh of BSF Paloura bagged the second place, while the third place went to Akash and Shabaz of Police Public School Miran Sahib.
The matches were officiated by  Chander Kanta ZPEO , Om Parkash ZPEO and PETs  Kamal Singh, Rajesh Bandral, Chander Shekhar and Ravinder Singh.
Meanwhile, the Department of Youth Services and Sports District Jammu is going to organize Inter School District level competitions in the discipline of Badminton, Taekwondo, Rifle Shooting, Tennis Ball Cricket and Handball Under-19 boys and girls on August 10 to August 13, 2015 at M.A Stadium, DPS Jammu, Green Field Gandhi Nagar, Police line and Dogra Ground Jammu.
