JAMMU, Dec 24: Vijay Club and JK Bank Academy registered victories to advance in the ongoing 2nd Christmas Soccer Championship, being organized by Christian Sports Organization J&K in collaboration with J&K Police Department and Jammu and Kashmir Football Association at GGM Science College Football Ground, here today.
In the first match played today, Vijay Club trounced NGR Club by a solitary goal (1-0). The players of both the teams displayed superb soccer skills and Vijay Club players managed to score a solitary goal.
Meanwhile, in another match, JK Bank Academy defeated JKSRTC by two goals to nil (2-0). The players of Bank Academy team dominated the proceedings from the word go and finally managed a (2-0) win.
The matches were officiated by Rakesh Kumar, Rinku Gill, Moon Stephan, Koushal Kumar, Hilal, Elijah Sotra, Vijay Kumar and Amit Sotra.
Pawan Parihar, SSP Traffic, Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion.
