JAMMU, Mar 26: Vijay Club defeated Young Rovers by six goals to five (6-5) via tie-breaker in the ongoing 24th State Football Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
In the stipulated time, both the teams scored one goal each to take the match to tie-breaker, wherein Vijay Club prevailed over their rivals by (6-5).
Earlier, in the stipulated time, Kajal Singh scored goal for Vijay Vijay Club, while Rahul Sharma netted the same for Young Rovers.
The goal scorers for Vijay Club in tie-breaker were Parveen, Mohit Verma, Vishal Bandral, Dhananjay and Vikramjeeet Singh, while the goal scorers for Young Rovers were Raghav Gupta,Vishal Angral, Abhimanyu and Rahul Ghai.
The matches were officiated by Rakesh Kumar, Dil Bahadur, Javed and Rickey Kumar.
