Vijay bags 2nd prize in Tuffman Chandigarh HM, Sonali 3rd in 10 Km run

JAMMU, Sept 26: Vijay Sharma bagged 2nd prize in Tuffman Chandigarh Half Marathon (HM) by completing the run in 1 hour and 39 minutes, while Sonali Sharma clinched third prize in 10km run by completing the event in 1 hour.
In the marathon, about 2000 runners participated from across India. It was raining heavily despite that a large number of runners participated in it and finished the race.
About 25 runners participated from J&K UT.
Those who participated in Half Marathon were Surinder Choudhary, Sindhu, Sajad Haider, Rahul Bhou, Rakesh Kumar, Varinder Kumar, Varun, Harmeek Singh and Atul Sharma. Mukesh Kumar was pacer in 10km run.
Those who participated in 10 km run were Shalok Bharti, Lukesh, Arun, Ajay, Bhaskar, Asima Raj, Dr Sanjeev Mohan, Ajay Gandotra, Naresh Sharma and Pranav Kalandria.
Tuffman is India’s premiere endurance sports platform bringing running, cycling and swimming events to sports and fitness enthusiasts.
The main purpose is to provide sports enthusiasts a whole new experience of “smashing” through both their physical and mental limitations at various different terrains, thus entitling them with the title ‘Tuffman’.
All events are into existence since 2014 and events were organised in various beautiful destinations in India, which everyone has long wishes to visit like Leh, Shimla (Mashobra), Goa, Jaisalmer, Manali, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Gurugram, Chandigarh, etc.
